You're too young to give up on your dreams, and DC isn't the only place to do politics or other work that makes a difference in people's lives. (Sorry for being trite, but I thought, given the circumstances, I should speak up.) When we've talked I've admired you for your presence of mind and ability to think about the bigger implications. I know you'll figure it out.

What a thoroughly engaging practice, Eva, on so many levels! Thank you for sharing. I wish I could take her class, too.

In my last class of the day last night (Election Day), I taught headstand. Sure, the alignment principles and the physical what-goes-where-how-and-when came into play. But it was even neater to see the lightbulbs come on when we talked about (OK, OK, you know me too well...When *I* talked about...) the mental, energetic and emotional effects of the headstand.

I think it is beautiful that your practice incorporates more than just the physical. You are peeling away at the layers of the onion as you continue to hunger for more. You are developing and expressing your growing awareness and curiosity. How delicious!
